Role Description The Human Resources Manager at IndiaMART will oversee end-to-end HR operations for the Greater Kolkata Area office in an on-site, full-time capacity.

Responsibilities include managing recruitment and onboarding, developing and implementing HR policies, and supporting performance management and employee development initiatives. The role will handle employee relations, grievance resolution, and engagement activities to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture. The HR Manager will also ensure compliance with local labor laws, maintain accurate HR records,



and collaborate with leadership to align HR practices with business objectives.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Experience in HR policy development, compliance with labor regulations, and handling HR documentation and reporting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and make sound, data-informed decisions.
- Proficiency with HRIS or HR-related digital tools and comfort working in a technology-driven business environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; professional HR certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in HR management or a similar role, preferably within fast-paced or high-growth organizations.
