Role Description The Hiring Counsellor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Haryana, India.

The Hiring

Counsellor will guide candidates through the recruitment and career counseling process, including understanding their skills and aspirations, matching them to suitable roles, and preparing them for interviews and corporate environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include screening resumes, conducting initial candidate interactions, maintaining candidate records, coordinating with corporate clients and internal teams, and supporting bulk and targeted fresher hiring initiatives. The role also involves providing clear communication about job requirements, organizing counseling sessions or workshops,



and contributing feedback to improve talent acquisition strategies.

The Hiring

Counsellor will collaborate with training and operations teams to ensure candidates are aligned with industry expectations and company standards.

Qualifications

- Talent acquisition and recruitment skills, including candidate screening, interviewing support, and coordinating bulk and targeted hiring activities.
- Counseling and advisory skills, with the ability to understand candidate profiles, career goals, and guide them toward suitable roles and training pathways.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with candidates, corporate clients, and internal stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
- Organizational and documentation skills for managing candidate databases, tracking hiring pipelines, and preparing reports or status updates.
- Basic understanding of corporate environments and in-demand technology and business skills (e.g., full stack development, data science, cloud, UI/UX, digital marketing) to counsel candidates effectively.
- Proficiency with common office productivity tools and online communication platforms; familiarity with applicant tracking systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work in office in Haryana, India, with a collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and a commitment to ethical, inclusive hiring practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related fields preferred); prior experience in recruitment, counseling, or training coordination is beneficial.
