Job Title: Head – WorldSkills and Industry Training & Certification

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech., MBA, or postgraduate qualification in Engineering, Technology, Skill Development, Vocational Education, or a related discipline.

Responsible for driving the growth and sustainability of the WorldSkills Training Centre through an integrated approach to skills competition training and business development of short-term certification courses. The role involves preparing candidates for national and international WorldSkills competitions while developing market-driven certification program's, professional skilling, upskilling and reskilling initiatives for students and working professionals.

The role involves managing training infrastructure, leading technical trainers, establishing industry partnerships, identifying corporate training opportunities, and driving revenue generation through customized training, professional upskilling, and industry-sponsored certification initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive revenue growth and financial sustainability of the WorldSkills Training Centre through short-term certification courses and industry-oriented training program's.
- Develop and expand market-driven skilling, upskilling and reskilling program's for students, working professionals and corporate clients.
- Identify new business opportunities, acquire clients and generate revenue through customized corporate training,



industry-sponsored certifications and career development program's.
- Establish strategic partnerships with corporates, MSMEs, industry associations and technology providers to expand the Centre’s business and revenue streams.
- Prepare candidates for national and international WorldSkills competitions while leveraging the Centre’s infrastructure, technical expertise and training capabilities to support commercial training activities.
- Develop a sustainable business model that integrates competition training with revenue-generating certification program's, ensuring long-term financial viability and excellence in skills training.
- Manage WorldSkills Training Centre operations, infrastructure, equipment, and training facilities.
- Monitor training quality, budgets, safety, and overall performance.

Key Skills: WorldSkills Competition Management, Technical Training, Business Development, Corporate Training, Industry Partnerships, Certification Program Development, Revenue Generation, Project Management, and Team Leadership. Experience: 15–20 years of relevant experience in WorldSkills, vocational education, technical training, skill development, or corporate training.

Mandatory Requirement: Proven experience in business development, revenue generation, client acquisition, and strategic partnerships in skill development, professional training, certification program's.
