Role Description The Head of Commercial role is a full-time, in office position based in Bengaluru. This role oversees commercial strategy and operations, including pricing, contracts, and business development for the company’s explosives and perlite product lines. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading commercial planning, reviewing financial performance, managing key customer relationships, and negotiating agreements with clients and partners.

The Head of Commercial will collaborate closely with production, finance,



and senior leadership teams to align commercial initiatives with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. The role also entails mentoring and guiding the commercial team, ensuring effective execution of sales plans and market expansion activities.

Qualifications

- Strong commercial management skills, including experience in contracts, pricing, and customer relationship management.
- Proficiency in business planning and strategic development to drive growth and market positioning.
- Advanced analytical skills to interpret market data, sales performance, and financial metrics for decision-making.
- Team management capabilities to lead, coach, and develop commercial and sales teams.
- Solid understanding of finance, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, mining, or related sectors is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
