Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fresher Field Sales role based in Chennai.

The Field

Sales team member will visit prospective and existing clients to explain DALMAF’s services, understand their business needs, and promote suitable solutions. The role involves generating and following up on leads, scheduling and attending client meetings, and maintaining accurate records of visits and interactions. The person in this role will collaborate with internal teams to coordinate service delivery, share client feedback, and support basic documentation or follow-up activities.





The position also requires regular reporting on sales activities and performance, and active participation in local marketing or outreach initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess basic communication and interpersonal skills, including clear spoken and written English and/or local language abilities.
- Candidates should possess customer-facing skills such as relationship-building, active listening, and a service-oriented mindset.
- Candidates should possess foundational sales and marketing skills, including lead generation, persuasive presentation, and basic negotiation.
- Candidates should possess organizational skills such as time management, planning daily routes or visits, and maintaining simple records or reports.
- Candidates should possess basic technology skills, such as using smartphones, productivity apps, and online communication tools.
- Ability to travel locally within Chennai and be comfortable with frequent client visits.
- Any undergraduate degree or diploma is preferred; students who have completed higher secondary education and show solid aptitude for field sales may also apply.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work under guidance from senior team members.
- Prior internship or part-time experience in sales, marketing, or customer service is an advantage but not mandatory.
