Role Description This is a full-time, in office Food Technology role based in Chennai. The role focuses on supporting the company’s performing arts activities by planning, preparing, and overseeing food-related operations for events, rehearsals, and productions. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating food preparation, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards, managing food service logistics, and working with vendors to source ingredients and beverages.





The role also involves collaborating with production and operations teams to align food service timing with performance schedules and audience needs. The individual in this position will help design simple menus, maintain inventory, and ensure an efficient, guest-friendly food and beverage experience.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Food Preparation and Cooking, with attention to taste, presentation, and consistency.
- Experience in Food & Beverage operations, including basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and handling standards.
- Background in Food Service, covering event-based service, coordination of meal times, and customer/guest interaction.
- Strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with artists, production staff, vendors, and guests.
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Knowledge of basic nutrition, menu planning, and inventory management is beneficial.
- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, food technology, or related fields is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Food Technology, Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline preferred.
