About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Manager – Finance to join our team at Havas Life Mumbai. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies, drive financial planning and analysis, and support informed business decision-making.

The role requires strong expertise in financial reporting, MIS, budgeting, forecasting, taxation and accounting operations. The candidate should be comfortable handling large volumes of financial data, independently managing finance-related responsibilities and providing actionable financial insights to business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead financial budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and variance analysis to support business objectives and financial performance.
- MIS & Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyse and present detailed Management Information System (MIS) reports in various formats, providing meaningful financial insights to senior management.
- Accounting & Financial Statements: Independently manage accounting activities, including the preparation and review of Balance Sheets in accordance with applicable IFRS and Indian GAAP (IGAAP) requirements.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee and manage end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, ensuring accuracy and timely closures.
- Taxation & Statutory Compliance: Manage GST, TDS and Income Tax-related matters, including statutory compliance, assessments and liaison with relevant tax authorities.
- Tax Management: Handle advanced taxation matters, including current tax and deferred tax calculations, accounting and reporting.
- Audit Management: Coordinate and manage various internal and external audits, ensuring timely submissions, documentation and compliance. Prior experience working with Big Four audit firms will be an added advantage.
- Business Partnership: Work closely with senior management and internal stakeholders to provide financial insights, identify business risks and support strategic decision-making.
- ERP & Financial Systems: Leverage ERP systems and financial tools to streamline accounting processes, reporting and financial operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as CA / CMA / MBA Finance will be preferred.
- Strong experience in financial planning, MIS reporting, budgeting,



forecasting and accounting operations.
- Thorough knowledge of Balance Sheet preparation and applicable IFRS / Indian GAAP provisions.
- Hands-on experience in GST, TDS, Income Tax compliance and liaison with tax authorities is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of advanced taxation, including deferred tax.
- Prior experience working with Big Four firms or managing audits involving Big Four firms will be an advantage.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and financial management tools.

- Excellent MIS preparation, data analysis and financial reporting capabilities.
- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within strict timelines.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.
