Role Description The Fesem (Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope) Operator role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Surat Area. The role involves operating and monitoring Fesem equipment, preparing samples, and performing high-resolution imaging and analysis according to established procedures and safety standards. The operator will document results, maintain accurate logs, and assist in interpreting imaging data to support research, quality control, or failure analysis activities.

Daily responsibilities include routine instrument calibration, basic troubleshooting,



and coordinating with technical support for maintenance and repairs. The role also requires collaborating with internal teams and clients to schedule instrument usage, ensure data quality, and adhere to laboratory protocols and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in operating electron microscopy equipment, sample preparation for Fesem analysis, and basic instrument calibration.
- Candidates should possess skills in data acquisition, image analysis, and documentation of test results in a clear and organized manner.
- Candidates should possess skills in following laboratory safety procedures, handling sensitive equipment carefully, and performing routine maintenance checks.
- Candidates should possess skills in technical communication, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and managing time effectively to meet project schedules.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Physics, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related technical field are beneficial.
- Prior experience in a microscopy lab, semiconductor lab, or materials characterization environment is an advantage.
- Ability to learn current instrument software, adapt to updated procedures, and maintain attention to detail under minimal supervision is preferred.
