Role Description The F&B; Helper Kitchen is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. This role supports the kitchen team in daily food preparation, basic cooking assistance, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

Responsibilities include washing, chopping, and preparing ingredients, assisting with plating and portioning food, and replenishing supplies as needed. The F&B; Helper Kitchen also helps with dishwashing, waste segregation, and adherence to hygiene and safety standards.



The role involves close coordination with chefs and service staff to ensure timely orders and a smooth guest experience during peak hours.

Qualifications

- Experience in basic kitchen operations, including food preparation, ingredient handling, and assisting cooks with routine tasks.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and cleanliness standards in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Ability to follow instructions, work efficiently in a rapid-paced setting, and collaborate effectively with kitchen and service teams.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and a proactive approach to restocking and maintaining kitchen workstations.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings, as required by café operations.
- Prior experience in F&B; or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training can be provided.
- Basic educational qualifications and the ability to read and understand instructions, order tickets, and safety notices.
- A positive, guest-oriented attitude and an interest in growing within the food and beverage industry.
