Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Facade Designer role based in Tamil Nadu, India.

The Facade

Designer will develop detailed facade concepts, translate architectural intent into practical design solutions, and coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing shop drawings, designing cladding and glazing systems, and supporting structural, thermal, and sustainability considerations for facade elements.



The role involves collaborating with project teams to ensure design compliance with safety standards, local regulations, and project specifications, as well as providing technical input during design reviews, site coordination, and quality checks.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in Facade and Facade Design, with the ability to integrate aesthetics and performance requirements.
- Candidates should possess experience in Cladding and Glazing systems, including material selection and detailing for various building types.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Shop Drawings, including the preparation, interpretation, and coordination of facade-related technical drawings.
- Relevant qualifications in architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, or a closely related field are beneficial.
- Experience with CAD/BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and 3D visualization software is advantageous.
- Knowledge of facade structural behavior, thermal performance, and local building codes is preferred.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
