Role Description The Educational Counselor will provide guidance to prospective and current learners on suitable digital marketing courses, career pathways, and skill development options. Day-to-day responsibilities include counseling students and guardians, conducting needs assessments, explaining program structures and outcomes, and supporting learners in selecting appropriate training and certification paths. The role involves coordinating with faculty and the admissions team, maintaining accurate counseling records, and participating in seminars, workshops,



and orientation sessions.

The counselor will also assist with career counseling, placement-related queries, and periodic follow-ups to ensure learner satisfaction and retention. This is a full-time hybrid role based in South Dum-Dum, with a mix of on-site responsibilities and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Educational Consulting and Education program guidance, with the ability to match learner goals to suitable courses.
- Experience in Student Counseling and Career Counseling, including one-on-one and group sessions.
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and empathetically.
- Understanding of digital marketing education (e.g., SEO, Social Media, PPC, Content Marketing) or willingness to learn these domains.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Management, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills, active listening, and a learner-centric approach to guidance.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in South Dum-Dum, manage schedules, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Prior experience in an educational institute, training center, or counseling role is preferred.
