Role Description The DPR Engineer will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and validating Detailed Project Reports for geospatial and engineering projects, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with client and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day work includes collecting and organizing survey and aerial mapping data, coordinating with GIS, field survey, and engineering teams, and translating technical inputs into clear, structured documentation. The role involves monitoring project progress, updating reports and dashboards, tracking quantities and milestones, and highlighting risks or deviations.

The DPR Engineer will also support data analysis, assist in bid and proposal documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of reporting standards and templates. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida.

Educational Qualification- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Master’s Degree in Transportation / Railway Engineering is desirable)





Experience Range - Minimum 3 to 7 years in railway infrastructure projects

Key Responsibilities-

- Lead and manage the preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for recent railway lines, doubling, gauge conversion, or electrification projects based on Final Location Survey (FLS) data. Prepared in two volumes as under: (i) DPR (Vol-l): The Volume-I of DPR should contain Executive summary and chapters on various components. (i) DPR (Vol-lI): The Volume-Il of DPR should contain Detailed Estimate of the Project as per Engineering code.
- Understanding the FLS activities, including topographic surveys, alignment finalization, L-Section preparation, and site reconnaissance.
- Ensure integration of geotechnical investigations, hydrological studies, environmental and social impact assessments into the DPR.
- Coordinate with field teams to ensure accuracy in chainage mapping, cross-sections, land acquisition plans, and utility shifting needs. • Provide technical leadership in alignment design, selection of suitable construction technologies, and cost optimization.
- Ensure compliance with Indian Railways codes, manuals, standards (IRS, RDSO), and MoR guidelines. Railway board’s latest guidelines preferably considering Railway Board’s letter no (1) 2022/W-I/Gen/DPR proforma (E-off: 3404238) dated 02/09/2022, (2) 2022/Gatishakti/EU/49 dated 19/08/2022, (3) 2021/SIG/Estimates/DPR (e file 3363771) Dated 25.08.2022, (4) 2021/RE/161/20 Misc New Delhi dated: 23.08.2022.
- Guide preparation of Bill of Quantities (BoQ), cost estimates, phasing plans, and financial viability analysis.
- Interface with Railway authorities, zonal railways, state departments, and client representatives for approvals and feedback.
