Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Distributor Sales Representative (DSR) role based in Chennai. The DSR is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with dealers, promoting the company’s product range, and achieving sales targets within assigned territories. Daily activities include visiting dealer outlets, explaining product features and benefits, processing orders, and coordinating timely deliveries with internal teams.

The role also involves tracking market trends, gathering customer feedback, and identifying new business opportunities. The DSR will prepare sales reports, manage basic documentation,



and collaborate with colleagues to support overall regional growth.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in field sales, distribution, or dealer management, preferably in the automotive or related industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with dealers and internal stakeholders effectively.
- Basic proficiency in using computers and mobile applications for reporting, order entry, and documentation.
- Ability to plan routes, manage time efficiently, and work independently in an on-site, field-based environment.
- Sound understanding of sales processes, negotiation, and customer service principles.
- Fluency in English and local languages used in Chennai; additional regional language skills are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territories and adapt to dynamic market conditions.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
- Integrity, reliability, and a focus on building long-term customer relationships.
