Role Description The Digital Innovation Fellow is a temporary, on-site role based in Kishangarh, focused on designing and testing digital tools that enhance livelihood opportunities for rural women. The fellow will work closely with community members and local partners to understand needs, map existing processes, and identify areas where simple digital solutions can improve access to training, markets, or information. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting field visits, gathering user feedback, co-creating prototypes with local stakeholders, and documenting learnings for program refinement.

The fellow will also support digital literacy workshops, help adapt content to local languages and contexts,



and collaborate with the wider team to integrate successful pilots into ongoing programs. This role requires flexibility, a strong commitment to social impact, and the ability to translate community insights into practical, user-friendly digital interventions.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in digital innovation, human-centered design, or social impact technology, with the ability to turn community insights into simple digital solutions.
- Background in field research, community engagement, or participatory program design, preferably in rural or low-resource settings.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain digital concepts in clear, accessible language and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Comfort with basic digital tools and platforms (e.g., mobile applications, messaging tools, low-bandwidth solutions) and interest in emerging technologies for development.
- Ability to work in office in Kishangarh, travel locally for field visits, and adapt to changing conditions and schedules.
- Relevant academic or professional experience in development studies, social work, design, technology, or a related field; prior work with women’s livelihood initiatives is an advantage.
- Commitment to gender equity, inclusion, and ethical, non-discriminatory practices in all aspects of program design and delivery.
