Job Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for steel structures, industrial equipment and mechanical components using AutoCAD.
- Develop GA drawings, shop drawings, part drawings and detailed fabrication drawings based on engineering designs and project requirements.
- Prepare cutting lists, material take-offs (MTO), BOMs and fabrication details for production and procurement.
- Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and design calculations to ensure accuracy and feasibility of fabrication.
- Coordinate with design engineers, production teams and site engineers to resolve drawing-related issues and incorporate necessary revisions.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy, proper detailing, welding symbols, connection details and adherence to project specifications and industry standards.

Key Skills Required

- Solid knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Knowledge of steel fabrication and structural detailing.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Understanding of welding symbols, material specifications and fabrication processes.
