Position- Designer

PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE

Support design development through accurate execution, technical detailing, and coordination, ensuring design concepts are translated into feasible, production-ready outputs.

RESPONSIBILITY

- Assist in developing seasonal collections through trend research, sketching, and material sourcing.
- Convert design concepts into detailed tech packs with measurements, construction, trims, and finishes.
- Support sample development with sampling, merchandising, and production teams.
- Track sample status and ensure iterations reflect feedback.
- Maintain design documentation, libraries, and seasonal archives.
- Ensure design-intent consistency across proto, fit, and final samples.
- Compile trend, colour, fabric, and silhouette research for internal reviews.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fashion or Textile Design from a recognized institute.
- 0-3 years of apparel design experience, preferably in export houses or manufacturing.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Design visualisation through hand sketches and CAD.
- Basic fabric, trim, and construction knowledge.
- Tech pack creation, BOM understanding, and trend research basics.
