Role Description This is a full-time, in office Design Engineer role based in Salem.

The Design

Engineer will develop and refine product concepts, create detailed engineering drawings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and manufacturability requirements. Daily responsibilities include using CAD tools to model components and assemblies, performing basic engineering calculations, reviewing prototypes, and incorporating feedback from testing and production. The role also involves preparing technical documentation, supporting design reviews,



and working closely with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve design issues and improve existing products.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering and Product Design skills, including experience translating requirements into practical, buildable solutions.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering skills, with knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.
- Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills, using tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar platforms for 3D modeling and drafting.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering fundamentals when working on designs that integrate electrical or electronic components.
- Relevant qualifications include a degree in Mechanical, Design, or Electrical Engineering (or a closely related field), experience in product development or manufacturing environments, and familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Additional beneficial skills include strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, clear technical communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively on-site in multidisciplinary teams.
