Role Title: Technical Delivery Head

Primary Domain: Banking & Financial Services (BFSI / Core Banking / Wholesale Banking)

Experience: 15 -18 years of software delivery experience, with a solid background in enterprise Java and at least 5+ years leading technical delivery teams in FinTech or BFSI services.

Job Purpose The Technical Delivery Head will drive end-to-end delivery of high-scale enterprise banking products built on modern Java microservices architectures. This role demands a strong mix of hands-on technical governance, Agile delivery excellence, client stakeholder management, and team leadership. You will work closely with architectural and product groups to translate complex FinTech requirements into reliable, production-ready enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Technical Governance & Architecture Alignment

- Drive engineering standards and code quality for enterprise Java microservices platforms (Spring Boot, Spring Security, RESTful APIs).
- Guide teams on API-first and event-driven design principles (Kafka/RabbitMQ) for real-time banking transaction processing.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects to validate non-functional requirements (NFRs), including high availability, system scalability, low latency, and banking security compliance.
- Direct technical root-cause analysis (RCA), defect resolution, and JVM/database performance tuning across critical releases.

2. Program & Delivery Management
- Lead end-to-end software delivery cycles, sprint planning, backlog refinement,



and release scheduling using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Manage delivery risks, resource allocation, technical dependencies, and operational metrics for multi-stream banking projects.
- Implement DevSecOps practices, driving automated CI/CD pipelines, static code analysis, and test automation coverage.

3. Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the key technical liaison for client, project leads, and enterprise architecture teams during implementation projects.
- Facilitate joint technical steering committee meetings, Scope/SOW validations, and operational reviews.

4. Team Building & Leadership
- Manage, mentor, and scale cross-functional delivery teams consisting of Java Technical Leads, Software Engineers, QA Leads, and DevOps Engineers.
- Cultivate an engineering-first setting focused on Design Thinking, code reviews, and continuous process optimization.

Technical Qualifications & Capabilities
- Core & Enterprise Java: Java 11/17+, Multithreading Spring Boot, Spring JPA, Hibernate.
- Architecture & Messaging: Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, RESTful Web Services, Apache Kafka / RabbitMQ, API Gateways.
- Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis.
- Cloud & DevOps: AWS / Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven.
- Modern Web Standards: Understanding of frontend integration (Angular) with microservices backends.

Education Background
- B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech / MCA in Computer Science or related fields.
