We are currently hiring an experienced Databricks / AWS Terraform Engineer for one of our esteemed clients

Location: Bengaluru & Chennai (Hybrid Mode)

Role Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Databricks / AWS Terraform Engineer to automate, provision, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for data and analytics platforms. The ideal candidate will have robust Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, practical AWS knowledge, and working familiarity with Databricks on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain reusable Terraform modules for AWS infrastructure and platform components.
- Provision and manage AWS resources including IAM, VPCs, subnets, security groups, S3, KMS, logging, and monitoring components.
- Support Databricks on AWS platform provisioning and configuration, including workspace infrastructure, access, connectivity, and environment setup as applicable.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure validation, plan/review, deployment, and change control.
- Terraform state, state locking, variables, outputs, secrets, module versions, and environment-specific configuration.
- Implement cloud security best practices, least-privilege access, encryption, network segmentation, tagging, and governance controls.
- Troubleshoot Terraform failures, AWS permissions, networking,



connectivity, and deployment issues.
- Collaborate with platform, data engineering, DevOps, and security teams; maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.

Required Skills

- Hands-on Terraform experience, including modules, variables, outputs, state management, and reusable IaC patterns.
- Practical AWS experience with services such as IAM, VPC, subnets, security groups, S3, KMS, and CloudWatch.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS-native tooling.
- Working knowledge of Databricks on AWS and associated infrastructure, access, networking, and deployment considerations.
- Ability to troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and explain technical decisions clearly.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Databricks workspace automation, Unity Catalog, cluster policies, private connectivity, or account-level configuration.
- Python or Bash scripting for automation.
- Experience with policy-as-code, infrastructure security scanning, cost optimization, and cloud governance.
- Relevant AWS, Terraform, or Databricks certifications
