Role Description This is a full-time, in office Data Specialist (Back Office) role based in Rajkot, with advanced Excel skills required.

The Data

Specialist will manage and maintain large volumes of financial and operational data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely updates across internal systems.

Responsibilities include preparing and updating Excel-based reports, dashboards, and data templates, performing data cleaning, validation, and reconciliation, and supporting internal stakeholders with ad hoc data queries.



The role involves analyzing trends and patterns in data to assist in decision-making, documenting data processes, and collaborating with finance and operations teams to improve data workflows and reporting efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Data Management and Data Modeling, with the ability to structure, organize, and maintain large datasets.
- Hands-on experience in Data Analytics and Data Analysis, including generating insights, summaries, and performance reports.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills for interpreting numerical information, identifying discrepancies, and supporting business decisions.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, lookups, charts, conditional formatting, and data validation) are essential.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data handling, and ability to work with confidential financial information.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in NBFC, banking, or financial services back-office operations will be an advantage.
