I am looking for Datasphere Consultant for one of our client in Bengaluru.

You as the SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Datasphere will ensure systems and business processes are developed to meet requirements. This role as an analyst will be responsible for delivering system services, improvements and projects. Your role will require collaboration with other business functions and multi-functional IT members to ensure the ongoing system integrity and stability. This role would signify the ability to work in a quick-paced, pressured environment with multiple customers.

Hold at least a B.Tech in computer science, information technology, or in a related field,

with at least 10+ years of overall experience in a similar role within a large, global organisation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both SAC (for planning and analytics) and SAP Datasphere (formerly SAP Data Warehouse Cloud) to enable data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

This role is based 100% in Bengaluru in India. There could also be a requirement for oncall.

Responsibilities:

 Design and implement data models and semantic layers in SAP Datasphere

 Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualisations in SAP Analytics

Cloud

 Support financial planning, forecasting, and simulation models in SAC

 Integrate SAP and non-SAP data sources (S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Salesforce,

AWS, etc.)





 Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver self-service analytics

 Ensure data governance, access control, and data lineage tracking

 Provide training and enablement for business users and citizen developers

 Troubleshoot and optimise performance of data models and visualisations

 Support UAT, cutover, and go-live activities for data & analytics solutions

Required Skills and Experience :

 Strong hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (BI & Planning)

 Ability for SAC Story Scripting using SAC API’ (JavaScript)

 Experience with creating SAC Data Actions for planning & simulation needs

 Proficiency in SAP Datasphere

 Familiarity with S/4HANA data structures and CDS Views,

 Working knowledge of HANA SQL, data modelling, and ETL concepts

 Understanding of SAC Excel Add-in including SAP Excel formulas

 Understanding of KPIs and metrics across finance, sales, supply chain, or HR

 Ability to translate business questions into data visualizations and models.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :

 Certifications in SAC or SAP Datasphere is a strong plus

 Comfortable working in agile project environments

 Experience with Databricks, or SAP Business Technology Platform is a bonus
