About the Role:

Subko is looking for a Content Specialist: Video with a strong eye for visual storytelling and the technical ability to shoot and edit engaging video content. The role involves creating video content across Subko's products, people, processes, spaces and experiences, with a particular focus on digital and social media platforms. We're looking for someone who is comfortable behind the camera, understands lighting and composition, and can translate creative briefs into visually compelling video content.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Shoot and edit video content for social media, digital campaigns, product launches, events and brand communication.
- Capture content across Subko's coffee, cacao, bakery, retail and production environments.
- Work with the Creative Video Producer and design team to execute concepts, moodboards and shot lists.
- Independently plan and execute quick photo and video shoots, including camera setup, lighting, framing and audio recording.
- Edit short-form and long-form video content, including Reels, product videos, interviews, process films, BTS, and brand-led storytelling.
- Handle colour correction, basic grading, sound editing, transitions and video formatting.
- Adapt video content for different digital platforms and aspect ratios.
- Organise footage, maintain asset libraries and manage project files.




- Collaborate with photographers, designers and other creative team members to ensure consistency across visual outputs.
- Explore recent filming techniques, editing styles and video formats.

Key Qualifications:

- 2–3 years of experience in videography, photography, video editing or digital content production.
- Strong portfolio or showreel showcasing filming, composition, editing and storytelling skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and motion graphics is an advantage.
- Experience using professional cameras, lenses, lights, photo/video equipment and audio setups.
- Understanding of colour grading, sound design, and export formats on digital platforms.
- Strong understanding of social media content, particularly Instagram Reels and other short-form formats.
- Ability to independently manage shoots and deliver edited content within timelines.
- Experience with product, food, lifestyle or documentary-style videography is preferred.
