About the Role:

Subko is looking for a Content Specialist: Photography with a strong understanding of composition, lighting, styling and visual storytelling.The role involves creating photography-led content across Subko's products, people, spaces, processes and experiences. We're looking for someone who can approach photography with both technical precision and a distinct creative perspective. The ideal candidate should be comfortable shooting independently, developing visual references and collaborating with the wider creative team on campaigns and content production.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Plan and execute photography for product launches, campaigns, social media, e-commerce, events and brand communication.
- Capture photography across coffee, cacao, bakery, packaging, retail spaces, people and production processes.
- Develop concepts and moodboards, visual references, lighting approaches and shot lists based on creative briefs.
- Execute product, food, lifestyle, portrait, environmental and documentary-style photography.
- Independently manage camera equipment, lighting setups, composition and on-set requirements, and final edits.
- Collaborate with designers, stylists, producers and other creative team members during shoots.
- Handle image selection, retouching, colour correction and post-production.
- Ensure consistency in photographic quality and visual language across brand touchpoints.




- Organise and maintain photography archives, raw files and final assets.
- Support campaign shoots and contribute creative ideas during conceptualisation and pre-production.

Key Qualifications:

- 2–5 years of professional photography experience, preferably across product, food, lifestyle or commercial photography.
- Solid portfolio demonstrating technical proficiency, composition and a distinct visual style.
- Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom, and Adobe Photoshop or similar editing software.
- Strong understanding of studio and natural lighting, camera systems, lenses and photographic techniques.
- Experience with food styling, product arrangements and set composition is an advantage.
- Ability to develop moodboards and translate creative references into photographic outputs.
- Experience shooting both controlled studio environments and dynamic on-location settings.
- Good understanding of image formats, resolutions, colour management and digital asset delivery.
- Ability to independently plan and execute shoots while managing multiple deliverables.
