Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Content Intern at Dailymattr.

The Content

Intern will support the editorial team by researching daily news stories, drafting concise explainers, and assisting in the creation of content across text, video, and audio formats.

Responsibilities include writing and refining web content, organizing stories within the content management system, and ensuring that all pieces align with Dailymattr’s editorial standards and tone. The role also involves monitoring current events, suggesting story ideas relevant to the platform’s audience,



and collaborating with team members to meet daily publishing goals. The intern will gain hands-on experience in digital news production, audience-centric storytelling, and content operations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Writing and Web Content Writing skills for clear, engaging, and accurate storytelling.
- Candidates should possess Communication skills to collaborate effectively with editors and team members in a remote environment.
- Candidates should possess Content Strategy and Content Management skills to help plan, structure, and organize daily stories.
- Ability to quickly research and synthesize complex topics into accessible explainers.
- Interest in news, current affairs, and digital media, preferably with familiarity with the Indian news landscape.
- Attention to detail, strong time management, and the ability to work to daily deadlines.
- Comfort working in a fully remote setup, with reliable internet access and self-directed work habits.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
