The team handpicks and fact-checks around 100 stories a day, offering text, video, and audio explainers. The focus is on clear, concise, and trustworthy content that users can actually finish.

Role Description As a full-time remote Content Creator Intern at Dailymattr, you will help produce engaging, accurate, and accessible news content across text, video, and audio formats. You will research trending and relevant topics, summarize complex stories into clear narratives, and assist in scripting and storyboarding for multimedia explainers. Your day-to-day work will include drafting posts, adapting content for different platforms, collaborating with editors and designers, and applying feedback to refine your work.

You will also support fact-checking, basic copyediting, and content scheduling to maintain a consistent,



high-quality news experience for the audience.

Qualifications

- Ability to research news and current affairs, identify key angles, and distill complex information into clear, concise summaries.
- Robust writing and editing skills with an eye for clarity, structure, and tone suitable for a younger, digital-first audience.
- Interest or basic skills in multimedia content creation, such as scripting for short videos, audio explainers, or social media formats.
- Familiarity with digital platforms and social media, and an understanding of how audiences consume news online.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, including openness to learning fact-checking and verification techniques.
- Reliable time management, ability to work independently in a remote setting, and willingness to receive and apply feedback.
- Ongoing or completed studies in journalism, communication, media, English, or a related field are preferred but not required.
- Genuine curiosity about news, public affairs, and storytelling, with a desire to build a career in content or media.
