Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Draftsman role based in Chennai.

The Civil

Draftsman will prepare detailed civil engineering drawings and layouts for wind, solar, and related infrastructure projects, using CAD tools to translate design concepts into accurate technical plans. Daily responsibilities include interpreting design inputs from civil engineers,



creating and modifying construction drawings, ensuring adherence to relevant codes and standards, and maintaining organized drawing records. The role involves coordinating with engineering and project teams to clarify specifications, resolving drawing-related issues, and supporting documentation for project approvals and execution.

The Civil

Draftsman is expected to meet project timelines, follow quality procedures, and contribute to safe and efficient project delivery.

Qualifications

- Solid skills in Civil Engineering Drafting and Civil Engineering Design.
- Proficiency in Technical Drawing and preparing accurate Engineering Drawings.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for civil projects.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Understanding of construction standards, building codes, and industry practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, specifications, and surveys.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in infrastructure or renewable energy projects is an advantage.
