Role Description The Chief Executive Officer – Jewellery and Fashion Commerce will lead the overall business strategy, growth, and performance of Empathy AI’s jewellery and fashion commerce initiatives in Kolkata. This full-time, in office role involves defining and executing long-term business plans, overseeing finance, sales, and operations, and aligning technology solutions with market needs. The CEO will manage key stakeholder relationships, including investors, partners, and major clients, while ensuring strong brand positioning and customer experience.

Day-to-day responsibilities include setting revenue and profitability targets, monitoring operational efficiency, guiding product and market expansion,



and making data-driven decisions using AI and analytics. The role also requires building and mentoring a high-performing leadership team, fostering a culture of innovation, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications

- Strong financial leadership skills, including Finance, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
- Proficiency in Operations Management, with experience optimizing processes and managing cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability in Business Planning, including market analysis, forecasting, and execution of growth strategies.
- Proven track record in Sales and revenue generation within commerce, retail, or jewellery and fashion sectors.
- Expertise in Strategic Planning, with the ability to set vision, define priorities, and drive long-term competitive advantage.
- Experience leading organizations or business units in technology-driven or e-commerce environments.
- Strong understanding of AI, data analytics, and digital commerce trends, especially in jewellery and fashion.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Technology Management, or a related field; entrepreneurial or startup experience is an advantage.
