Role Description The Cashier role at PCGI Consulting is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. The Cashier is responsible for handling daily cash and card transactions, issuing receipts, and maintaining accurate records of payments. This role includes reconciling cash drawers, preparing basic financial summaries, and ensuring that all transactions comply with company policies and procedures.





The Cashier will interact with internal teams and external stakeholders in a professional manner, respond to payment-related inquiries, and support administrative or accounting tasks as needed. The role requires consistent attention to detail, reliability, and adherence to confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

- Solid numerical accuracy, basic accounting knowledge, and experience handling cash and electronic payments
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, billing software, and MS Office tools (especially Excel and Outlook)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused and professional approach
- Organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage records and work with minimal supervision
- Integrity, reliability, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with financial procedures
- Prior experience in cashiering, accounts, or finance support roles is preferred
