Role Description The CCTV Camera Technician is a full-time, hybrid role based in Kochi, with some flexibility for work from home as project needs allow. This role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining CCTV cameras and related surveillance equipment at client sites and company facilities. Day-to-day tasks include performing system checks, diagnosing technical issues, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and ensuring optimal camera positioning, cabling, and lighting conditions.

The technician will document installations, maintain service records,



and collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate CCTV systems with existing infrastructure. The role also includes responding to service requests, providing basic user guidance, and ensuring that all work adheres to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Solid troubleshooting skills related to CCTV systems, networks, and hardware.
- Hands-on experience with camera installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of lighting setups and their impact on CCTV image quality.
- Familiarity with broadcasting or video transmission concepts for surveillance systems.
- Understanding of radio or wireless communication used in CCTV and security solutions.
- Basic knowledge of IP networking, cabling, and power systems (PoE, UPS).
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and installation plans.
- Comfort working at client sites, including occasional travel in and around Kochi.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in electronics, IT, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in CCTV, security systems, or facilities maintenance is an advantage.
