Role Description The Business Intern role at Dailymattr is a full-time, remote position supporting the business and operations team. In this role, the intern will assist with business planning, basic market and competitor research, and preparation of reports and presentations for internal stakeholders. The intern will help track key performance metrics, support customer service initiatives, and contribute to improving user experience and engagement.

Day-to-day activities may include organizing data, drafting internal communications, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and helping refine business processes.



The role offers exposure to digital media operations, audience growth strategies, and product-focused decision-making in a fast-moving news startup.

Qualifications

- Solid analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
- Foundational understanding of business and business planning, with interest in digital media or startups.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Customer service orientation, with the ability to respond to user feedback and support user-centric solutions.
- Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software) and comfort working in a remote environment.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree program in Business, Economics, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated interest in news, current affairs, and building positive digital habits is a plus.
