Role Description The Business Development Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Malappuram. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with partners, clients, and institutions, and promoting Skilzon’s programs and services.

The Business Development

Officer will analyze market trends and financial data to support strategic decisions, prepare proposals and presentations, and participate in meetings and events to drive growth. Daily tasks include managing the sales pipeline, responding to inquiries,



coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery, and providing high-quality customer support to prospective and existing clients.

Qualifications

- Strong New Business Development skills, including lead generation, opportunity evaluation, and relationship-building
- Analytical Skills to interpret market data, assess performance metrics, and support strategic planning
- Basic to intermediate Finance skills to understand pricing, budgeting, and revenue projections
- Excellent Communication skills for presentations, negotiations, and stakeholder engagement
- Customer Service capabilities to provide responsive, professional support and maintain client satisfaction
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and common business software
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site environment and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
- Prior experience in education, training, or career services sectors is an advantage
