Role Description The Business Development Intern role is a full-time, in office position based in Chennai. The intern will support the business development team in identifying and qualifying potential partners and clients, assisting with lead generation campaigns, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or tracking tools. Daily tasks include conducting market research, analyzing trends, preparing reports, and contributing to outreach efforts through emails, calls, and presentations.

The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer inquiries, strengthen relationships with institutional and corporate partners,



and help refine Cornixe’s value proposition. This role offers hands-on exposure to the EdTech and corporate training ecosystem, with opportunities to learn sales processes and contribute to growth initiatives.

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret market data and business metrics.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction and professional presentation abilities.
- Candidates should possess Lead Generation capabilities, with an interest in prospecting, qualifying leads, and supporting sales pipelines.
- Candidates should possess Market Research skills, including competitor analysis, industry scanning, and identifying new business opportunities.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, relationship-building, and a learner- and partner-centric mindset.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Comfort with MS Office or Google Workspace and basic familiarity with CRM tools is beneficial.
