Economist

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct macroeconomic research and analyse key domestic and global economic trends.
- Develop economic forecasts and assess their implications for financial markets, sectors and investment strategies.
- Track key macroeconomic indicators, monetary and fiscal policies, inflation, interest rates and GDP growth.
- Prepare high-quality research reports, economic outlooks and thematic notes for institutional clients.
- Translate macroeconomic developments into actionable insights for investors.
- Support the development and growth of the Strategy product through macroeconomic insights, thematic research and inputs on market outlook and investment strategies.




- Collaborate with the broader Institutional Equities Research team to provide an integrated view of the economy and equity markets.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Master’s degree in Economics from a reputed institution.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in economic research, macroeconomic analysis or a similar role.
- Robust analytical, quantitative and report-writing skills.
- A sound understanding of the domestic economy, global macroeconomic developments and financial markets.
- An interest in pursuing a career in sell-side Institutional Equities Research.
