About the Role

Balar Builders is looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager – Civil with strong knowledge of residential construction and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) coordination. The candidate must be able to independently manage site execution, coordinate multiple teams, maintain construction quality, and ensure timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently manage residential construction activities from structural work to finishing.
- Plan, schedule, and monitor project activities to meet deadlines.
- Supervise site engineers, supervisors, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Oversee RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, tiling, painting, and finishing work.
- Coordinate MEP activities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire-fighting, and drainage systems, as applicable to the project.
- Ensure proper coordination between civil, electrical, plumbing, and other building services to avoid site conflicts and rework.
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings before and during execution.
- Monitor construction quality and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Plan material requirements and coordinate with procurement teams and vendors.




- Monitor labour productivity, material consumption, and project costs.
- Resolve technical and site execution issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with site safety standards and construction procedures.
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for management.
- Take ownership of project timelines, quality, coordination, and resource utilisation.

Eligibility & Requirements

✅ Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.

✅ 8–10 years of experience in residential building construction.

✅ Robust knowledge of RCC structures, finishing work, and building construction.

✅ Practical experience coordinating MEP works on residential projects.

✅ Understanding of electrical, plumbing, drainage, HVAC, and fire-fighting systems, as applicable.

✅ Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

✅ Experience in contractor management, material planning, quality control, and cost monitoring.

✅ Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

✅ Proficiency in MS Excel and construction progress reporting.
