Role Description The Assistant Pastry Chef Instructor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Coimbatore Area. This position supports lead instructors in planning and delivering practical and theory classes in baking and pastry arts, including demonstrations, hands-on sessions, and assessments. Daily responsibilities include preparing ingredients and equipment for classes, assisting learners during practical sessions, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards, and maintaining an organized training kitchen.

The role also involves contributing to recipe development, supporting curriculum implementation,



monitoring student progress, and providing constructive feedback. Collaboration with the instructional team on course improvements and participation in events, workshops, and examinations are key aspects of this role.

Qualifications

- Robust foundation in Bakery and Baking, with practical experience in pastries, breads, and desserts.
- Proficiency in Food Preparation and Cooking, including ingredient handling, portioning, and kitchen organization.
- Demonstrated Culinary Skills with attention to taste, texture, plating, and presentation.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and commercial kitchen best practices.
- Prior experience in a professional bakery, pastry kitchen, or culinary training environment preferred.
- Ability to instruct, mentor, and support diverse learners with clear communication and patience.
- Strong teamwork skills and reliability in a structured educational setting.
- Relevant culinary or pastry certification or diploma
