Role Description The Article Trainee will work full time on-site at the Mumbai office, supporting audit, accounting, and taxation assignments under the guidance of senior professionals. Daily responsibilities include assisting in statutory and internal audits, preparing and reviewing accounting entries and financial statements, and supporting direct and indirect tax compliance and filings. The role involves maintaining working papers and documentation,



performing basic financial analysis, and contributing to client deliverables.

The Article

Trainee will also participate in training sessions, stay updated on relevant accounting and tax regulations, and collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of engagements.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in accounting principles, auditing concepts, and basic taxation, with the ability to apply these in practical client assignments.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools; familiarity with accounting or ERP software is an advantage.
- Valuable analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate working papers and documentation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented, professional environment.
- Enrollment in a Chartered Accountancy course (or eligibility to register as an article trainee) and successful completion of relevant CA examination levels as required by the Institute.
- High level of integrity, willingness to learn, and capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Interest in building a career in auditing, taxation, and financial advisory; prior internship or related exposure is beneficial but not mandatory.
