Senior Appian Developer (India)

Location: Hyderabad OR Bangalore (Remote during training, then project deployment – minimum 2 days per week in office)

Role summary

Experienced Appian developer responsible for implementing, upgrading, integrating, and stabilizing client’s DocCenter and AI Assist capabilities. The resource must be capable of independently resolving complex Appian application conflicts, configuring AI-enabled document processing, and supporting development through regression testing and deployment.

Core responsibilities

- Install, configure, and upgrade Appian DocCenter, AI Document Center, and Document Compare applications.
- Execute application exports/imports, resolve object conflicts, and manage dependencies.
- Develop and troubleshoot Appian process models, interfaces, expressions, constants, record types, and integrations.
- Configure AI Skills, LLM selections, document extraction, and validation workflows.
- Implement AI Assist business rules for purchase order, quote, contract, and customer information validation.
- Support database script execution, plugin verification, and environment configuration.
- Collaborate with QA to resolve defects,



improve application performance, and support regression testing.
- Prepare deployment packages and technical documentation.

Required technical skills

- 5+ years of hands-on Appian development
- Appian process models, SAIL interfaces, expressions and record types
- Appian application imports/exports and conflict resolution
- Appian document management and processing workflows
- REST APIs, integrations, database queries and SQL
- Appian AI Skills, document extraction and LLM integration
- Appian DocCenter / AI Document Center experience
- Document Compare implementation experience
- Appian Certified Senior Developer

Ideal candidate A hands-on senior developer who has delivered enterprise Appian implementations and can troubleshoot complex application dependencies with minimal supervision.

Critical differentiator: Direct experience upgrading or customizing Appian document processing applications, particularly those using AI extraction and document comparison capabilities.
