Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Analog Layout Engineer role based in Bengaluru, suitable for professionals with 4–15 years of experience.
The Analog Layout
Engineer will be responsible for creating and optimizing analog and mixed-signal layout designs, working closely with circuit design engineers to translate schematics into robust physical implementations. Daily tasks include floorplanning, device placement, routing, matching-critical layout, and ensuring compliance with design rules and performance requirements.
The role involves conducting physical verification (DRC, LVS, ERC, and related checks), resolving layout and verification issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet schedule and quality targets. The engineer will also contribute to layout methodology improvements, documentation, and best practices for complex SoC and IP blocks.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess robust skills in Layout Design, including floorplanning, device placement, routing, and matching for analog and mixed-signal blocks.
- Candidates should possess solid skills in Circuit Design, Analog, and Analog Circuits, with understanding of schematics, device behavior, and performance trade-offs.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Physical Verification, including DRC, LVS, and related checks, and familiarity with industry-standard EDA tools.
- Experience with advanced process nodes, SoC/ASIC design flows, and foundry-specific design rules is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, manage multiple layouts in parallel, and meet project timelines.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality, manufacturable designs.
