Required Skills & Qualification Criteria
1. IBM Power Systems & AIX Expertise
● Contemporary AIX OS: Deep expertise in AIX 7.2 and AIX 7.3 (Note: AIX 7.1 experience is legacy/phased out).
● IBM Power Hardware:
Direct experience with Power 9 and Power 10 server hardware.
● Engineering Mindset: Proven track record of personally designing, architecting, and implementing complex engineering solutions—not just performing routine tasks like file system creation or user administration.
- High-Performance File Systems (GPFS / Spectrum Scale) and VIOS Administration
● Strong hands-on engineering experience with GPFS / IBM Spectrum Scale v4.2 or higher (v5.x preferred).
● Demonstrated understanding of GPFS architecture, multi-node cluster deployment, storage performance tuning, and version compatibility across AIX releases.
