Role Description The AI Video Editor & Social Media Content Creator (Freelance) is a part time, remote role focused on producing engaging digital content that showcases RoboThink UK’s STEM programs and products. Day-to-day tasks include planning and editing short-form and long-form video content using AI-assisted tools, optimizing footage for social media platforms, and incorporating brand-aligned graphics and motion elements. The role involves repurposing class recordings, product demos, and testimonials into compelling clips, reels, and stories tailored for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.





The individual will collaborate with the marketing team to develop content themes, maintain a consistent visual style, and schedule regular posts to increase awareness and engagement. The role may also include basic copywriting for captions, thumbnails, and titles, as well as monitoring performance metrics to refine future content.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in video production and video editing for social media and educational content.
- Proficiency in video color grading to ensure consistent, vibrant, and on-brand visuals.
- Experience with motion graphics and graphics creation to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted video tools and current social media trends (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects as a freelancer.
- Basic understanding of social media content strategies, including audience targeting, hooks, and thumbnail/caption optimization.
- Attention to detail, strong visual storytelling skills, and an interest in STEM or education-focused content.
- Relevant experience in video editing or digital media; a portfolio or showreel highlighting social media work is highly beneficial.
