Role Description The Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. The counselor will guide prospective students and their families through the study abroad lifecycle, including initial inquiry handling, needs assessment, and course and university shortlisting. Daily responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, explaining admission requirements, timelines, and documentation, and supporting students with application forms, SOP/LOR coordination, and scholarship and financial aid options.

The role involves maintaining accurate student records, following up on leads, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely processing of applications and visas.



The counselor will also assist with organizing seminars, webinars, and orientations, while consistently delivering high-quality, ethical, and student-centric guidance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to counsel students and interact with families effectively.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to provide responsive, empathetic, and solution-oriented support throughout the admissions journey.
- Candidates should possess basic to moderate Sales skills to handle inquiries, convert leads, and promote suitable programs without high-pressure tactics.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of Education systems and study abroad pathways, including major destinations such as the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and Europe.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Education, Counseling, Business, Humanities) or equivalent experience in admissions, counseling, or education services.
- Ability to explain complex information clearly, manage multiple student cases simultaneously, and maintain accurate documentation and follow-ups.
- Comfort with using digital tools and CRM or student management systems; familiarity with visa and scholarship processes is an advantage.
- Prior experience in student counseling, overseas education consulting, or a related customer-facing role is preferred but not mandatory.
