Role Description The Admission Counsellor internship role at DataPlay is an on-site position based in Jaipur. The counsellor will interact with prospective learners, explain DataPlay’s programs and learning pathways, and guide them through the admission process. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to inquiries via phone and in person, conducting counselling sessions, understanding candidate goals, and recommending suitable courses.

The intern will support sales and enrolment activities, maintain accurate records of leads and admissions,



and collaborate with the education and marketing teams to ensure a smooth learner experience. This role offers practical exposure to education counselling, customer engagement, and sales processes within a dynamic data science training environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills for engaging with prospective learners and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to address inquiries, resolve concerns, and ensure a positive admission experience.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to convert leads into enrolments and support program growth.
- Candidates should possess an interest or background in Education to effectively explain DataPlay’s offerings and learner pathways.
- Ability to work on-site in Jaipur, manage multiple tasks, and maintain accurate records of counselling and admissions activities.
- Comfort with using basic digital tools (spreadsheets, CRM or lead tracking systems, email, and messaging platforms).
- Strong organizational skills, a learner-focused mindset, and willingness to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Undergraduate degree in any discipline (or current enrollment) is preferred; prior experience or internships in counselling, sales, or education services are an advantage.
