Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Active Directory Engineer to manage, support, and optimize Microsoft Active Directory environments. The candidate will be responsible for identity and access management, AD administration, Group Policy management, Azure AD integration, and troubleshooting directory services in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and maintain Microsoft Active Directory (AD DS) infrastructure.
- Manage user accounts, groups, organizational units, and security permissions.
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot Group Policies (GPOs) .
- Perform Active Directory health checks, replication monitoring, and issue resolution.
- Manage Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID) synchronization using Azure AD Connect.
- Implement and support authentication technologies such as SSO, MFA, Kerberos, and NTLM .
- Provision and deprovision user access in compliance with security policies.
- Support identity lifecycle management and access governance.
- Monitor domain controllers and maintain AD security best practices.
- Perform AD migration, consolidation, and upgrade activities.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams for identity-related initiatives.

Required Skills

- Strong experience with Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) .
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 .
- Expertise in Group Policy Management (GPO) .
- Experience with Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID .
- Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Kerberos, and PowerShell .
- Experience with Azure AD Connect and hybrid identity environments.
- Understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts.




- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Microsoft 365 Administration .
- Knowledge of Conditional Access, MFA, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM) .
- Experience with ADFS , Entra Connect, and Hybrid Cloud environments.
- Exposure to ITIL processes .
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (AZ-104, SC-300, MS-102, etc.).

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Roles & Responsibilities in Microsoft Setting

- Manage hybrid identity solutions between on-premises Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Support Microsoft 365 user provisioning and authentication services.
- Ensure compliance with Microsoft security and identity best practices.
- Handle incidents, service requests, and problem management related to Active Directory services.
