Role Description This is a full-time, in office Accounts Payable Executive role based in Navi Mumbai.
The Accounts Payable
Executive will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, verifying supporting documents, and ensuring timely and accurate payments. Daily tasks include matching purchase orders with invoices, preparing payment runs, reconciling vendor statements, and tracking outstanding payables. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date records in accounting systems, resolving invoice and payment discrepancies with internal teams and vendors, and supporting month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
The Accounts Payable
Executive will follow company policies, support compliance with taxation and regulatory requirements, and assist in improving AP processes and controls.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, invoice management, and vendor reconciliation.
- Ability to work with accounting/ERP software, spreadsheets, and basic financial reporting tools.
- Understanding of GST, TDS, and other relevant tax regulations applicable to vendor payments.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
- Ability to work on-site in Navi Mumbai and collaborate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in accounts payable or general accounting in an outsourcing or corporate environment is an advantage.
