Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior US Accountant to manage bookkeeping, general ledger activities, financial reporting, and accounts payable and receivable operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of US accounting practices, hands-on experience with QuickBooks, and advanced Excel skills. The candidate must be capable of managing month-end closing activities, meeting strict reporting deadlines, and ensuring accuracy across financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Bookkeeping: Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure transactions are recorded in a timely manner.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare month-end financial reports, MIS reports, and variance analysis to support management decision-making.
- General Ledger Management: Review general ledger accounts, perform reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate financial postings.
- Accounts Payable (AP): Oversee vendor invoices, payment processing, expense tracking, and accounts payable reconciliations.
- Accounts Receivable (AR): Monitor customer invoices, collections, outstanding balances, and accounts receivable reconciliations.
- Month-End Closing: Coordinate and execute month-end closing activities, ensuring timely completion and accurate financial reporting.
- Financial Analysis:



Analyze financial data, identify variances, and provide insights into discrepancies and unusual transactions.
- Process Compliance: Maintain proper accounting documentation and follow established accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate with internal stakeholders and US-based teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and meet reporting deadlines.
- Reporting and Automation: Use advanced Excel functions to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and improve reporting efficiency.

Educational Qualifications:

- CA Inter / CA IPCC, CMA Inter, or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance is desirable.

Technical Skills:

- Strong knowledge of US accounting principles and practices.
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks is essential.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and financial data analysis.
- Experience in general ledger management, account reconciliations, AP, and AR.
- Knowledge of month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
