Role Description The Accountant role at OneClick IT Consultancy Pvt Ltd is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The individual in this role will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping.

Responsibilities include preparing invoices, processing payments and receipts, reconciling bank statements, and monitoring accounts payable and receivable. The Accountant will assist with monthly and annual closing activities, support budgeting and forecasting, and generate financial reports for management review.



The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local tax regulations, coordinating with internal teams and external auditors, and contributing to process improvements in finance and accounting workflows.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational accounting skills, including general ledger management, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
- Experience with accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, expense tracking, and bank reconciliation.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar tools) and solid MS Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of local taxation, GST, TDS, and regulatory compliance relevant to Indian corporate environments.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and support budgeting and forecasting.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a technology or consulting company is beneficial, along with familiarity with project-based cost tracking.
