Zylo House of Brands Pvt. Ltd. is hiring an Accountant to own day-to-day books, MIS reporting and sales order processing across its two fragrance brands, OCD and iScents.

- Reports to: CFO The role sits at the centre of finance and operations: keeping Tally accurate, giving management clean numbers on time, and making sure every order is processed correctly from receipt to invoice.

Key responsibilities

Accounting and compliance

- Record day-to-day accounting entries (purchases, sales, expenses) in the ERP/Tally
- Process vendor invoices and employee reimbursements
- Assist with bank reconciliation and petty cash management
- Support GST, TDS and other statutory return filings
- Maintain accounts receivable/payable ageing and follow-ups
- Assist during internal and statutory audits

MIS and reporting

- Compile and maintain daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data from various departments
- Build and maintain dashboards/trackers for management review
- Analyse trends and highlight exceptions to management
- Maintain confidentiality and data integrity
- Support ad-hoc reporting and data requests

Order processing

- Receive, verify and process customer/sales orders accurately
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for order fulfilment




- Track order status and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Resolve order discrepancies (pricing, quantity, documentation)
- Maintain order records and prepare periodic status reports
- Escalate delays or issues for timely resolution

Requirements

Qualifications and experience

- B.Com / M.Com, or CA Inter / CMA Inter (pursuing or completed)
- 2–4 years of accounting experience, ideally in FMCG, D2C or a distribution business
- Hands-on working knowledge of Tally
- Practical exposure to GST and TDS compliance and return filing

Skills

- Advanced Excel: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formulas, basic dashboards
- Comfort with Google Sheets for shared trackers
- Solid attention to detail and number accuracy
- Clear written and verbal communication in English and Hindi
- Able to coordinate with sales, warehouse and logistics teams and follow up firmly
- Organised, deadline-driven and trustworthy with confidential data
