Fundabox is available as both a web and mobile application, designed with input from expert educators to ensure high-quality, syllabus-aligned content and an engaging learning experience.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Sadar. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking. The role involves preparing financial statements and reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

The Accountant will handle invoicing and collections, maintain accurate ledgers, support internal audits, and collaborate with management to provide financial insights that support business decisions.



The individual will also assist with tax-related documentation and coordinate with external auditors or consultants as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in financial accounting and bookkeeping, including managing ledgers, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Ability to handle accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, collections, and cash flow tracking.
- Experience preparing financial statements, management reports, and supporting budgeting and forecasting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar tools) and MS Excel for financial analysis.
- Knowledge of applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Solid attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills to manage multiple financial tasks.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, CPA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within a startup or technology-driven organization, is beneficial.
