Role Description The Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Vadodara. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial activities, including bookkeeping, preparing and posting journal entries, and maintaining ledgers.

Responsibilities include preparing invoices, processing vendor and customer payments, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with monthly and annual closing. The role also involves supporting tax and compliance filings, preparing financial reports for management, monitoring accounts receivable and payable, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors. The Accountant is expected to maintain accurate financial records, uphold company policies,



and contribute to the efficiency of finance operations within a logistics-focused environment.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and ledger management.
- Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and MS Excel (including formulas and basic analysis).
- Ability to prepare financial statements, management reports, and perform bank and account reconciliations.
- Understanding of taxation, statutory compliance, and regulatory requirements relevant to corporate finance.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and the ability to work with high levels of accuracy.
- Effective communication, time management, and organizational skills for working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain professional relationships with vendors, clients, and auditors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; qualified certifications (such as CA Inter or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain industries is beneficial.
