Role Description The AVP Finance and Accounts is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing financial planning, reporting, and accounting operations. This role involves managing the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. The AVP will partner with business leaders to provide financial insights, monitor key performance indicators, and support strategic decision-making. Daily responsibilities include supervising accounting processes, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal controls, coordinating audits,



and driving process improvements in finance and accounts. The role also requires mentoring finance team members and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to maintain robust financial governance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess performance, and support strategic decisions.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Planning and Financial Reporting to manage budgets, forecasts, and periodic financial disclosures.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely closure of accounts.
- Experience in corporate finance, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance, preferably within fintech, financial services, or a high-growth environment.
- Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent, along with several years of progressively responsible experience in finance leadership roles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, implement process improvements, and work collaboratively with senior stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a high level of integrity and ownership in financial management.
